Duties Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning dishes. Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items. Maintain a clean and organized work area by following proper sanitation procedures and cleaning schedules. Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service during busy hours. Handle food safely by following proper food handling protocols and hygiene practices. Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels. Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are most important. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards is a plus. Experience with catering or banquet service can be beneficial for supporting special events. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintaining sanitation standards is desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues and guests.
