Duties Clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks. Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety standards. Maintain organized storage of supplies, ingredients, and cleaning materials for easy access. Help with general cleaning duties across the kitchen, dining areas, and service stations to uphold a spotless environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures. Familiarity with cleaning protocols for commercial kitchens or hotel settings is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff and guest satisfaction. Prior experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
