The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients. Help with bussing tables and clearing dirty dishes to ensure a smooth workflow in the dining area. Follow all health and safety, food handling, and sanitation regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of items during peak service hours. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is required. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and handling techniques. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy setting. A positive attitude with a willingness to help team members as needed. Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be available at 3 pm daily and have night, weekend, and holiday availability.
