Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces regularly. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support chefs and kitchen staff. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Organize and store clean items properly to promote an orderly workspace. Follow food handling safety standards and sanitation protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety regulations. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads. Experience with bussing tables or supporting food preparation is a plus. Familiarity with catering or banquet settings enhances your suitability for this role. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations. Prior hospitality or hotel experience can be advantageous but is not mandatory.
