Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Your energetic approach will help keep the kitchen running smoothly, supporting culinary staff and enhancing the overall guest experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in food service and hospitality operations. Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently throughout each shift Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support culinary staff Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean serving ware and assisting with dish logistics Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times Help with general cleaning duties in the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal Collaborate with team members to ensure timely turnover of dishes during busy service periods Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and food handling practices Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards Experience with bussing tables or supporting catering events is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of culinary or hotel operations is advantageous but not mandatory This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in hospitality settings.
