Responsibilities Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards. Clear and reset tables swiftly to prepare for new guests, maintaining a clean and welcoming dining space. Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients or plating under supervision to support kitchen operations. Support catering and banquet events by providing timely bussing and ensuring event spaces stay tidy. Maintain cleanliness in all food service areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces. Handle food handling duties responsibly, following safety protocols to prevent contamination. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key! Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or cleaning supplies. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues. Experience with catering, banquet service, or hotel food service is a plus but not mandatory. Willingness to learn food preparation techniques and assist in various kitchen duties as needed. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members.
