Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep, where your energy and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities Maintain a spotless and organized dishwashing station by thoroughly cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using commercial-grade cleaning tools and techniques. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies to support chefs and kitchen staff. Support banquet and catering events by preparing food items, setting up serving stations, and ensuring timely delivery of meals. Uphold strict food handling and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations to ensure guest safety. Clear tables promptly by bussing dishes, resetting dining areas, and assisting servers during busy service hours. Contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness by sweeping floors, sanitizing work surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and maintain a positive, energetic work environment. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Basic knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy trays or equipment. Experience with food preparation or catering services is a plus; familiarity with banquet setups is advantageous. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude; excellent communication abilities are valued. Previous kitchen experience in hotels or restaurants will help you excel in this fast-paced role.
