Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently throughout each shift Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or portioning to support kitchen operations Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing services and maintaining cleanliness standards Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety compliance Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours Uphold high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen and dining environment Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, food handling safety, and sanitation standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency Basic knowledge of kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, and general culinary practices is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting the culinary team Prior banquet or hospitality experience can be advantageous but is not required Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both colleagues and guests Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by ensuring our kitchens operate smoothly with your energetic support!
