This is a vital role essential to the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen and restaurant. We offer a competitive starting wage of $16.00 per hour and opportunities for growth within our team.
Responsibilities Maintain Cleanliness:
Ensure all dishware, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and stored correctly.
Station Management:
Maintain a clean and organized dish station, including washing surfaces, equipment, and flooring.
Equipment Operation:
Safely and efficiently operate the industrial dish machine, including monitoring temperatures and chemical levels.
Stocking & Storage:
Assist with organizing, stacking, and storing clean dishes and equipment in the appropriate areas for kitchen and service staff access.
Waste Management:
Manage and empty trash bins as needed. Maintain cleanliness at the dumpster area.
Support:
Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep or light cleaning tasks as directed by the kitchen manager during slow periods.
Kitchen Flow:
Maintain constant awareness of the needs of the kitchen line and prioritize washing based on operational urgency.
Operation Hours:
Monday-Sunday 7am-2:30pm and 2:30pm-9:30pm Qualifications Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high temperatures and moisture. Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory. Must be able to follow safety procedures and verbal instructions accurately. Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is a plus, but not required.
