Job Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep! Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals under supervision Support the culinary team in meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen surfaces, and storage areas in compliance with health regulations Handle food items carefully during preparation and service, adhering to proper food handling procedures Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen well-equipped for daily operations Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and kitchen equipment operation Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Basic knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly is advantageous Experience working in restaurants or the food industry helps develop valuable skills such as knife handling, portioning, and multitasking Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations Embark on a rewarding journey where your contribution directly impacts the quality of meals served.
