Responsibilities Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as bussing tables or preparing ingredients when needed. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health and safety standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and efficient workflow during busy service periods. Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to keep the kitchen environment safe and sanitary. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organization. Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations, catering, or banquet services. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced settings. Prior experience with bussing or basic food preparation is a plus but not mandatory.
