Responsibilities Thoroughly wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning foods under supervision. Support the culinary team during busy service periods by bussing tables and clearing plates promptly. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper cleaning procedures for kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas. Help with food handling duties in accordance with health regulations to ensure safe storage and preparation of ingredients. Contribute to catering and banquet setups by preparing necessary supplies and assisting with food presentation when needed. Follow all safety guidelines related to kitchen operations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Skills Experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating familiarity with kitchen operations. Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and safety protocols. Ability to perform basic cooking tasks and assist with food preparation efficiently. Previous experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus. Strong organizational skills with an eye for cleanliness and detail. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and servers.
