Dishwasher/Busser

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment. The ideal candidate will support food service operations by ensuring dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas are sanitized and ready for use, while also assisting with bussing tables to deliver excellent guest experiences. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus, but we value a positive attitude and willingness to learn. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable culinary and hospitality skills in a fast-paced setting. Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness standards are met. Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave to maintain a smooth flow of service. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic kitchen duties such as peeling, chopping, or assembling ingredients. Support catering and banquet setups by transporting supplies and ensuring cleanliness of service areas. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors and wiping down surfaces. Help with stock replenishment in dishwashing stations and service areas to ensure smooth operations. Follow all food handling and safety procedures in accordance with health regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of bussing, food preparation, cleaning, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward guest service and colleagues. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks. Basic understanding of food handling safety standards; culinary or hotel experience is a plus.
