Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas and ensure proper storage of clean items for easy access by kitchen staff. Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables or organizing supplies when needed to support the culinary team. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is spotless and ready for service. Follow all food handling and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently. Keep work areas organized and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to supervisors. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent teamwork skills; able to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
