Overview As a Utility Service Worker at Milk & Honey Cafe , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our cafe. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks, including dishwashing, cleaning, and supporting the overall smooth operation of our establishment. Responsibilities Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of all tableware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Assist with the cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces. Empty trash receptacles and maintain waste disposal in accordance with safety and hygiene standards. Support the cafe team by restocking supplies and ensuring a well-organized work environment. Collaborate with fellow staff to ensure efficient and timely service to customers. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment. Qualifications Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
