PM Dishwasher Marriott Norfolk Waterside - 4.0 Norfolk, VA Job Details $12.80 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Food service workstation cleanliness Food service cleaning No experience needed High school diploma or GED Food and beverage industry expertise Kitchen equipment maintenance Entry level Full Job Description Position Summary The utility dishwasher adheres to hotel specifications and standards in operating the dishwashing machine to wash designated restaurant and kitchenware, clean and maintain equipment and dishwashing/kitchen/compactor and storage areas. Assist in washing pots, pans and other kitchen utensils/equipment. Complete other projects as assigned. This industry functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day. Physical responsibilities include carrying a large oval tray with 6 covered dinners, approximately 20 pounds. Push/pull carts and other equipment up to 100 pounds. Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas. Work environment - restaurant, and all areas of the hotel. Job involves working under variable temperature conditions and noise levels, in indoor and outdoor settings. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for lengthy periods of time.
