Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Night Dishwasher to join our hospitality team. In this role, you'll be essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment during the overnight hours. Your efforts ensure that kitchen operations run smoothly, supporting food preparation, service, and overall cleanliness. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working behind the scenes, and has a passion for hospitality and food service. Duties Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to meet health standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including prep work for upcoming shifts or events. Support banquet and catering setups by ensuring all dishware and utensils are clean and ready for use. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Help with general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold a hygienic environment. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely turnover of dishes during busy periods or special events. Skills Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen support roles is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Basic understanding of food service operations, including catering or banquet experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks quickly. Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff. Willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and support various kitchen functions as needed.
