Overview:
A dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a restaurant or food service establishment. They work in the kitchen area and are an essential part of the kitchen staff. Dishwashers at Honor Brewing will work in a fast-paced environment and are expected to work efficiently to keep up with the demands of the kitchen.Responsibilities:
- Sorting and organizing dirty dishes, glasses, and utensils.
- Loading and unloading dishwashing machines.
- Operating and maintaining dishwashing equipment.
- Hand-washing delicate items that cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher.
- Scrubbing and removing food residue from dishes and utensils.
- Ensuring that dishes are properly sanitized and dried before storing.
- Assisting with general kitchen cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Emptying trash and recycling bins.
- Restocking clean dishes, glasses, and utensils in their designated areas.
- Following all health and safety regulations and maintaining clean and organized work area.
