Position Overview We are looking for a reliable and hardworking dishwasher to join our cafe team. The dishwasher plays a key role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth kitchen operations by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Key Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwashing maching and three-compartment sink Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are sanitized according to health and safety standards Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as taking out trash, sweeping, and mopping floors Restock clean dishes and supplies in appropriate areas Support kitchen and front-of-house staff as needed Follow cafe policies and safety procedures at all times Qualifications & Requirements No prior experience required (training provided), but experience in a kitchen is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays The pay range for this role is: 15 - 16 USD per hour(Virginia Beach, VA)
