Duties Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient organization when needed. Support the catering team by providing clean serving ware and assisting with setup or cleanup during events or banquets. Buss tables by clearing plates and utensils from dining areas promptly to keep service flowing smoothly. Follow food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are upheld at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items for food service and catering operations. Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key. Experience in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced situations. Familiarity with basic food handling, cleaning protocols, and kitchen safety practices is advantageous. Prior roles involving serving or bussing contribute to understanding customer service expectations in hospitality settings. No formal experience necessary—training will be provided to develop skills in dishwashing, cleaning, and food safety standards.
