Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This energetic position offers the opportunity to support culinary operations by ensuring dishes are spotless, food prep areas are sanitized, and kitchen supplies are well-stocked. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute directly to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Whether you're assisting with basic food preparation or supporting catering and banquet events, this role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to maintain cleanliness standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and setting up workstations to support chefs and kitchen staff. Support banquet and catering events by preparing serving stations, replenishing supplies, and ensuring timely setup and breakdown. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, counters, sinks, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines. Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations. Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly during service hours to ensure a smooth flow of operations. Collaborate with team members to ensure all food service areas meet safety and sanitation standards at all times. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with basic food handling practices and cleaning procedures is advantageous. Experience working in banquet or large-scale event settings can be beneficial. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or moving equipment comfortably. A positive attitude with strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
