The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist in food preparation tasks as required to support the kitchen staff. Ensure that all dishware is returned to its proper place after cleaning. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low. Follow all food safety guidelines and health regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Support bussing duties by helping to clear tables and reset dining areas during peak service times. Complete room tray set ups for delivery Deliver Memory Care meals Qualifications Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
