Duties Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper procedures. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as bussing tables or organizing supplies when needed. Support the kitchen team by handling food handling tasks in accordance with safety regulations. Manage waste disposal and recycling processes to uphold cleanliness standards. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during busy service periods. Help with light cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to support overall sanitation efforts. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads or moving equipment. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting. Basic understanding of kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, or catering is a plus. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
