What you ll do:

The Nitty Gritty1+ years hospitality, stewarding, or kitchen support experience preferredAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environmentNecessary State Food Handler s License(s) preferredAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to safely operate dishwashing and sanitation equipmentKnowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, and food safety proceduresAbility to lift and carry heavy kitchen equipment and suppliesMust possess strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficientlyAbility to accommodate operational needs in a timely mannerBrass TacksOperate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen toolsMaintain cleanliness and organization of dish area, kitchen floors, drains, walls, and back-of-house spacesWash pots, pans, and kitchen equipment by hand as neededEnsure proper storage and organization of clean kitchen supplies and equipmentRemove trash, recycling, and compost while maintaining cleanliness standardsAssist with receiving and storing deliveries following proper food safety proceduresMaintain stock of cleaning supplies and notify leadership when replenishment is neededSupport kitchen team with basic prep or operational assistance as directedResponsible for opening and closing stewarding procedures with the ability to accommodate kitchen and operational needs in a timely mannerColumbia Hospitality, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive environment without regard to age, race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or any other protected status in accordance with applicable law.
