The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall success of our culinary operations, supporting both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams. Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen. Assist in food preparation as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Help with bussing tables by clearing away used dishes and utensils promptly. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management immediately. Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as necessary.
