On-Call Kitchen Porter Marriott Tacoma Downtown - 1.0 Tacoma, WA Job Details $18 - $19 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We're searching for hardworking individuals who are eager to contribute to the efficient operation of our busy kitchen as our next dishwasher. We require a dependable person who can jump in and assist with a range of kitchen activities. You will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine in addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers. Compensation:
$18 - $19 hourly
Responsibilities:
Take part in employee meetings regularly to stay up to date on all policies and safety regulations Unload the dishwashing machine and place utensils and dishes in appropriate storage areas Sort dishes, scrape plates, and rinse glassware before loading into the dishwashing machine Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping and mopping kitchen floors daily Maintain proper amounts of detergents and other cleaning supplies, and notify the supervisor of any mechanical defects with the dishwashing machine
Qualifications:
