Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, sinks, floors, and storage areas to uphold health and safety standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies or pre-rinsing ingredients when needed Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use Manage waste disposal and recycling processes to keep the kitchen tidy and compliant with sanitation regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables during service hours and support bussing duties as required Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards and prevent contamination Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and food handling safety practices Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes and kitchen areas are spotless and organized Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff during busy service times Experience with food preparation or banquet settings is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment aligned with health regulations Embark on a rewarding journey supporting our culinary team!
