TVR Tennis Associate

Position Summary:

This role is a key associate, responsible for delivering exceptional tennis and pickleball instruction that enhances the guest experience. From the perspective of both recreation and hospitality, this position promotes engagement, skill development, and enjoyment for guests of all ages and abilities. With exposure to all aspects of resort activities, the role will grow concurrently with the company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group instruction in both tennis and pickleball for guests of varying skill levelsDesign and lead engaging clinics, lessons, and recreational play sessionsEnsure a welcoming, inclusive, and fun environment for all participantsAssess guest skill levels and tailor instruction to meet individual needs and goalsPromote participation in tennis and pickleball programs and activitiesMaintain courts, equipment, and overall cleanliness of the tennis and pickleball facilitiesEnforce safety standards and proper use of equipment at all timesAssist with scheduling lessons, managing reservations, and tracking participationSupport special events, tournaments, and group activities as neededCollaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience

Qualifications:

Previous experience teaching or coaching tennis required; pickleball instruction experience preferredStrong knowledge of tennis fundamentals; working knowledge of pickleball rules and gameplayExcellent communication and guest service skillsAbility to work with individuals and groups of all ages and skill levelsEnergetic, engaging, and professional demeanorFlexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periodsAbility to demonstrate techniques and actively participate in playAbility to lift and carry equipment up to 25 lbs

Outdoor setting in varying weather conditionsFast-paced, guest-focused resort environment
