Hostess/Pool Attendant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic hostess/pool attendant to join our the Calamigos Team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Hostess or Pool Attendant you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests and members have an enjoyable experience by delivering high-quality service and assisting with their needs throughout their visit with a welcoming first impression. Customer Service:

Providing a friendly, professional, and helpful demeanor to set the tone for the dining experience.

Greeting and Seating:

Welcoming guests immediately upon arrival, escorting them to the tables, and providing menus. For the pool escorting them to their lounge chairs or cabana.

Reservations and Waitlist management:

handle incoming Alice or phone requests for reservations and managing a waitlist during busy times, providing realistic wait times. For the Pool manage the Alice ticket requests for Cabana rentals and working with management as well as the servers to setup the cabana before the guest arrives.

Monitoring the status of tables:

knowing where the table is during the guest experience is it clean, occupied (what stage of their meal are they at), dirty. This will help to manage the flow of tables and wait times.

Server Rotation:

Ensuring seating is balanced between servers to prevent overloading staff which ensures a great guest experience.

Pay:

$17.87 - $20.00 per hour
