Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Golf Shop Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while managing retail operations within the golf shop. Your duties will include assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf, strong communication skills, and experience in retail sales. Duties Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain accurate inventory levels through stocking and merchandising of products. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about merchandise. Upsell products to enhance customer experience and maximize sales. Ensure the golf shop is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with excellent phone etiquette. Utilize basic math skills for accurate pricing and transaction processing. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities. Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail math is beneficial. A passion for golf or experience in a related environment such as a grocery store is an advantage.
