Cart Attendant - Cleveland Heights Golf Course

This position is responsible for the dispersion and maintenance of the cart fleet for the Cleveland Heights Golf Club. Provides carts for golfers. Maintains and repairs damage on the carts. Keeps work area clean. Washes cars daily and charges carts. May be required to participate in and/or facilitate training to support departmental or City initiatives and requirements. May be required to work overtime, or alternate hours, as necessary for the efficient operation of the department. Position is designated as Mission Critical. Must have completed up to the eighth grade.

ABILITIES

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees. Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to stand for long periods. Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Ability to operate a cart.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

: The job requires light work that involves walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or standing most of the time, and lifting or moving objects weighing 10-25 pounds regularly. The job requires normal visual acuity, field of vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, taste, smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
