Job Description

General Purpose:
To greet residents and guests to the pool area as well as check or proper badges. Also maintain pool area so they are neat and clean for guests. Essential duties include but are not limited to: Must maintain a friendly and helpful disposition by smiling and standing to greet guest while requesting to see their homeowner and/or guest badges. Effectively communicate with department staff to attain customer needs. Check the delinquent list of patrons and refer them tactfully to the office to clear up any discrepancies.
Throughout shift:
straighten furniture, wipe down tables, check bathrooms for debris completed check at least 3 times during shift. Maintain and oversee the use of the Billiard room. Issue guest passes after office hours. Report on all repair needs to the Maintenance Department. Report all incidents to your manager by phone and in writing. If any incident requires, call 911 immediately. Maintain provided daily pool host report. Make guests aware of and enforce the pool rules. Additional Duties required for Special Events at Pool #1 Must be able to work Friday, Saturday nights with Lakeside Music. Must be able to work Sunday shifts with Lakeside Street Dances. Must be able to work occasional special events on Thursday nights Lakeside. Other duties as assigned. In the event of bad weather, clear the pool immediately, take down umbrellas and stake chairs.
Experience/Qualifications:
Must be able to swim proficiently Outstanding customer service Command of English language (reading, writing, and speaking) Must be assertive, polite, diligent and practice diplomacy with general public Able to cope with stressful situations.
Selection Guidelines:

When Filled About Barefoot Bay Recreation District Barefoot Bay The largest unincorporated, deed-restricted manufactured home community and recreation district, located in southern Brevard County, Florida. The population reported from the 2010 United States Census was 9,808. The nearest commercial area is Sebastian, FL, located in Indian River County. History of Barefoot Bay Barefoot Bay began as an idea for a recreational vehicle vacation resort for those looking to escape the colder weather up north or just looking for a great place to relax. In 1968, the Gulf Acceptance Corporation, purchased the original one thousand acres that would become known as Barefoot Bay. With that, the vision for a Polynesian themed recreation community had begun. The beautiful Polynesian style clubhouse opened its doors in June of 1971. It would host up to 500 people and include a full kitchen.
