Position Summary:
The Golf Course Halfway House Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, efficient food and beverage service to members and guests at the Cabana/Halfway House. This seasonal position plays an important role in enhancing the member experience by maintaining a well-stocked Cabana, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring responsible alcohol service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve beverages, including beer, wine, and cocktails, in accordance with Illinois liquor laws Prepare and serve light food items such as grilled items and snacks Restock beverages, snacks, condiments, and supplies throughout the day Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including counters, equipment, and outdoor seating areas Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs Follow opening and closing procedures Work independently and proactively
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to serve alcohol in the state of Illinois Prior food service or bartending experience preferred Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor Excellent attention to cleanliness and detail Self motivated and able to work without direct supervision Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Reliable transportation and ability to work evenings and weekends
