Job Posting Title:
Markin Attendant - Fall 2026 Job Description Reporting to the Director of Campus Recreation & Athletic Facilities, the Markin Attendant is responsible for contributing to the Campus Recreation Team and for assisting with operations of Campus Recreation programs and facilities. Fall 2026 (August 1st) estimate start date.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Fulfill shifts for the Markin Recreation Center and Markin Tennis Courts (when open). Maintain a varied work schedule to include nights and weekends. Works cooperatively with other Campus Recreation professionals and student staff to: Provide/deny access to Markin at the Control Desk Assist anyone who becomes injured during their "shift", secure appropriate medical assistance when needed, and fill out the appropriate injury forms Periodically make rounds of the building to monitor activity and identify items/situations that arise Fill out the respective reports detailing usage of the building and equipment concerns/needs as provided by the Director of Campus Recreation Communicate with employees to make sure they have the support necessary to perform their work Assist any understaffed areas until a student can be recruited to work Utilize the hand-held radio system to communicate throughout facilities. Assist in keeping machines clean and sanitary for patrons. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be a current Bradley University student eligible for employment. Ability to work independently to create effective programs and services that serve the entire Bradley community. Applications should include a resume.
