Job Description
Job Overview The Honeywell Golf Course is seeking a part time Golf Shop Attendant that will assist the Director Golf with daily responsibilities and tasks at a fast paced public golf course. The Golf Shop Attendant will be front and center greeting golfers, making tee times, selling merchandise, as well as food and beverage items. While a background in golf is not necessary, you should have some general knowledge of the game. This position does serve alcohol, all candidates that apply must be of age to either have or acquire a liquor license. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with product selection, including golf equipment, apparel, and accessories Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and maintain accurate cash handling records Provide information about memberships, and upcoming events. Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking reservations, ensuring clear communication at all times. Assist with outside operations from cleaning golf carts to maintaining the practice facility. Hours This is a seasonal position that will run until the end of November. Flexible schedule that works 24-32 hours per week predomintently on the evenings, weekends, and holidays. We hope you consider working with our fun and energetic team the Honeywell Golf Course.
