Job Description

PAY RATE
$16.17 per hour (up to 600 hours per year or 120 days per season). Eligible part-time employees will receive up to a $5.75 per hour retention bonus for all hours worked from Memorial Day through Labor Day. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Work activities in this position primarily involve the operation and maintenance of a marina facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The list below is intended to describe the general nature of duties only. Employee shall perform other duties as assigned. Operates cash register, collects and records daily receipts accurately. Checks change fund daily. Performs daily dock and ground checks. Cleans restrooms and marina building. Stocks all refectory and sundry items. Cleans and maintains acceptable appearance of marina facility and launch site water area. Responsible for slip re-rentals and assignments. Advises boaters of the marina rules.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to get along with co-workers, supervisors, and park visitors. Ability to distinguish letters and symbols. Ability to communicate using telephone and/or radio. Ability to operate cash register. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Will be required to work assigned Special Events, Weekends, Evenings and Holidays. Will be required to adjust schedule to meet organizational needs. Ability to perform essential duties.
