Pool Attendant

Birchwood Farms Golf and Country Club is currently seeking Pool Attendants Hiring ages 16 and up

Job Type:

Part-time and Full-Time for the remaining season

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 + per hour depending on experience

Job Summary:

The Pool Attendant will greet and check in members as they arrive to the pool. Walk the pool deck, locker rooms and bathrooms. Clean up used towels, garbage and restock clean towels. Communicate closely with the lifeguard on duty and assist in any first aid needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None Duties/Responsibilities:

Ensures that the rules and regulations of the swimming pool are followed to maintain a safe swimming environment. Administers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and uses automated external defibrillator (AED) when needed. Contacts emergency medical personnel when a serious injury occurs. Confirms Membership with guests entering the pool. Clean up dirty towels and garbage. Stock clean towels. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must be CPR certified Excellent observational skills. Ability to enforce pool regulations and rules. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

Must be at least 16 years old. Must possess the following certifications from the Red Cross or other equivalent agency:
