Job Description

JOB The Golf Course Clubhouse Worker supports the operations of the Mendota Heights Par 3 golf course. Responsibilities include opening and closing the course, completing daily sales transactions and general maintenance of the clubhouse and patio areas. Applicants can expect to work 2-3 shifts per week through the close of the season in November.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Opens and closes golf course, as scheduled. Processes daily sales transactions, collects greens fees, sells concessions, closes out/reconciles daily sales. Collects money and processes credit card transactions. Meets and greets customers in a positive and courteous manner, provides course information, makes tee time and equipment reservations in person and over the phone. Performs daily light maintenance of the clubhouse and grounds. Assists with the coordination of tournaments, leagues and other promotional golf activities. Monitors course play and enforces course policies, rules and procedures. Performs other related functions, as apparent or assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and interact with the public in a positive and professional manner. Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions according to established procedures. Ability to communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner with staff and customers. Ability to use Point of Sale system Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
The shifts for these positions is from 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or 1 p.m.-8 p.m. seven days a week. Candidates must be available to work those general hours April through October.
