Job Description

The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is here to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests, and that means a fin-tastic variety of recreational activities on the resort! With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for a friendly, confident and welcoming individual to run the bowling alley desk and assist our guests with any issues during their game.

Full Time Pay $ 15.00 per hour
Age Requirement:
Must be at least 18 years of age Reports to: Director of Recreation As the Bowling/Arcade Attendant, you will be a vital part of creating an environment of fun and participation. You will enjoy talking to people of all ages including young children and will report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure the smooth running of the bowling alley.
Responsibilities include:
Proper cash handling procedures to include Micros transactions, balancing daily receipts, balance bank, complete all closing reports and deposits. Greet all guests and assist them in the bowling process; to include ringing up each transaction and provide proper shoe sizes, score cards, scoring directions as well as overseeing the lanes for needed repairs. Maintain a clean facility and work area. Maintain a safe work environment by promoting safe work practices and document any unsafe areas or practices with written documentation and work orders when needed. Oversee guests and their use of the facilities to ensure safety at all times. Restock redemption items and tickets in the games. Properly assist guests in a prompt and hospitable manner. Document needed game repairs and communicates with the Engineering Department and immediate supervisor when games are not working properly. Qualifications Personal Skills Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors. Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guests, other staff members and on the phone. Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures. Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care. Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change. Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development. Conducts him\herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally. Actively listens to others. Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis. Physical Requirements Minimum pulling and lifting of 20 pounds. Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity. Hearing, writing. speaking Standing for long periods of time.
