Golf Pro Shop Attendant Canebrake Country Club Part-Time Job Summary The Pro Shop attendant plays a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for our members and guests. This position is responsible for daily operations in the golf shop, including sales transactions, merchandising, tee time management, and supervision of cart staff when on duty. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a team-focused, customer-service environment. Key Responsibilities Greet members and guests in a courteous, professional manner. Perform opening and closing procedures to ensure the golf shop is prepared for daily operations. Oversee cart staff during scheduled shifts, ensuring smooth coordination of golf cart staging, cleanliness, and player service. Handle phone calls, tee time reservations, and member inquiries with efficiency and professionalism. Process and reconcile daily sales transactions accurately for members and guests. Assist with merchandise inventory management, including restocking, pricing, and maintaining clean and attractive displays. Support the management team with scheduling and organizing starting times and golf course flow. Help with member events and tournaments set-up, registration, and coordination as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in the golf shop and surrounding areas. Ensure regular, reliable attendance and adherence to the club's service standards. Perform other duties as assigned by the Golf Professional or Club Management. Qualifications Previous customer service or retail experience preferred; golf industry experience a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
