About Us Nexus is a provider of facility management solutions in North Carolina with a focus on serving the multifamily sector. Our services include commercial janitorial services, building maintenance services, and business office cleaning with a specialization of delivering customized services to multifamily homeowner associations and property management groups. Job Summary The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming pool environment. This role involves monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and providing excellent customer service to residents and their guests. The ideal candidate is attentive, friendly, and committed to upholding our luxury standards. This opportunity would be at one of Charlotte's premier luxury high-rise apartment buildings located in the heart of the city.
Responsibilities Monitor Pool Area :
Ensure the safety of all residents and guests by enforcing pool rules and regulations, including but not limited to logging and checking in residents and their guests.
Maintain Cleanliness :
Keep the pool deck, lounge areas, and related facilities clean and organized, including arranging furniture, removing debris, and sanitizing surfaces.
Assist Residents :
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting residents, answering questions, and assisting with poolside needs (e.g., providing towels, adjusting umbrellas).
Safety Compliance :
Check pool equipment and water quality regularly, reporting any issues to maintenance staff.
Event Support :
Assist with poolside events or activities as needed, ensuring a seamless experience for residents.
Report Incidents :
Document and report any safety violations, accidents, or maintenance concerns to management promptly.
Qualifications Experience :
Previous experience as a pool attendant, lifeguard, or in a customer-facing role preferred but not required.
Certifications :
Lifeguard certification, CPR, and First Aid certification are a plus but not mandatory.
Skills :
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced, luxury setting with a focus on resident satisfaction.
Availability :
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts, primarily during pool season (May-September).
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
