Player Services Manager & Head Golf Professional Primary Purpose The Marshal & Starter position is responsible for ensuring an exceptional golf experience for members and guests at Las Vegas Country Club. Marshals oversee pace of play, monitor adherence to club policies and dress code standards, and provide outstanding customer service throughout the golf course. Starters are responsible for managing the first tee operation, confirming tee times and player information, and tracking golf cart assignments to maintain efficient golf operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Interact with members and guests in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner. Monitor and maintain the club's standard pace of play on the golf course. Communicate with groups regarding pace of play expectations when necessary. Work closely with the Golf Shop team to maintain accurate pace-of-play tracking. Communicate with the Starter and Golf Shop regarding any on-course issues or delays. Inform players of golf course conditions, local rules, and club policies. Ensure members and guests follow club policies, including dress code standards. Verify players and tee times at the first tee and maintain accurate golf cart records. Maintain a professional appearance and represent Las Vegas Country Club in a positive manner at all times. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Basic knowledge and understanding of golf course operations and procedures preferred. Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license. Ability to safely operate golf carts and related equipment. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Reliable and consistent attendance required. Ability to recognize occupational hazards and follow safety procedures and practices. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Physical Demands & Work Environment Position is located at a prestigious private country club within a gated residential community in Central Las Vegas. Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and move light to moderately heavy objects throughout the workday. Employees will regularly work outdoors and be exposed to various weather conditions, including high temperatures, cold temperatures, wind, and sun exposure.

Pay:

$12.00 per hour
