Job Description
Fairgrounds Worker The Coos County Fair is looking for enthusiastic Individuals to join our team for the upcoming fair! As a fair worker, you will have the opportunity to interact with the public, work in a fast-paced environment, and help make the fair a success. Requirements Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test without THC and background check. Must be able to work during the last two weeks of July, preparing fair grounds and buildings for fair opening. Must be able to work alone and with a team. Be able to run a weed eater, power washer, and work with various hand tools and paint supplies. Job Duties Painting, pulling weeds, pressure washing, cleaning bleachers, paint scraping, general cleaning, supervising weed eating and mowing and any other assigned tasks. During the Fair July 21st - 25th, the grounds preparation will be suspended but you have opportunity to work with garbage collection crews and/or cleaning crews. Schedule Monday-Friday 6-8 hours a day-Flexible Schedule- July - August 12th or as deemed by the Coos County Fair Board. May have opportunities to work more hours or weekend hours.
