Astoria Golf & Country Club is seeking a Part‑Time Golf Shop Assistant to join our Golf Operations team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a member‑focused environment, has a passion for golf, and is looking for a flexible role with opportunities to learn and grow within a premier private club. Position Overview The Golf Shop Assistant supports the daily operations of the Golf Shop, providing exceptional service to members and guests. This role includes closing shifts , assisting with tee time management, retail support, and general golf operations. Key Responsibilities Assist members and guests with check‑in, tee times, and general inquiries Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Golf Shop environment Support retail operations including merchandising, restocking, and sales Prepare the shop for closing and complete end‑of‑day procedures Provide support to the Professional Staff during daily play and events Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable with basic point‑of‑sale and computer systems Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor Golf knowledge is preferred but not required Schedule & Compensation Part‑time position (10-20 hours per week depending on season) Primarily closing shifts Competitive hourly wage Golf privileges included
