The season will run from late April to September. There will be some training days scheduled around late April or early May, but the season doesn't fully begin until late May.
Responsibilities:
Pool:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pool guests by facilitating pool rules and regulations
- Monitor pool area for any potential hazards or safety concerns
- Provide excellent customer service to pool guests, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Perform basic maintenance tasks to keep the pool area clean and presentable
- Report any incidents to security, maintenance, or the manager
Arcade:
- Daily cleaning the arcade area
- Monitor that guests are following the posted rules
- Blow off the greens of the mini golf course
- Assist guests with arcade machines as they may need help
- Count money and keep track of the register
Qualifications:
- 16 years of age or older
- Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate with pool & Arcade guests and provide instructions
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles preferred, not but necessary
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Lifeguard certification is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working with children and providing a safe environment for their enjoyment
- Strong conflict management skills to handle any disputes or issues that may arise
- Hospitality experience is beneficial in providing exceptional service to pool guests
- Able & Willing to get in pool when necessary Please note that this position does not require lifeguard duties, but lifeguard certification is a plus.
