Job Summary:
Pool Attendants have passion for providing safe swimming conditions for our Guests! We help maintain pool equipment, while monitoring and adjusting chemicals to provide safe swimming surroundings. We take ownership of maintaining the cleanliness of pools and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
Duties will include getting into the water every day to clean tiles, vacuum pool, check grates at the bottom of the pool, inspect pool lights, and clean hair baskets We work in and around pools as well as in outdoor settings in various weather conditions We partner daily with Recreation Coordinators, Recreation Leaders, Engineering/Maintenance to advise on daily operation and function of pools, water features and spas Comfortable working with the following: Pool Chemicals Pool Pumps Large pool filters Chemistry Readings Accurate Record Keeping Able to read and follow chemical charts as well as enforce polices, rules and regulations of the recreation location.
Basic Qualifications:
Here are the basic things you will need to be successful in this job: Must Have Valid Driver's License Strong verbal communication skills (able to positively engage with Guests, Cast Members, and leadership) Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (hearing protection, safety googles) while doing certain duties Comfortable driving a van or box truck This role is full-time and requires full availability for any shift, including nights, any day of the week. Must be fully available for any shift on state/national holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
It would be great if you: Previous Aquatic Facility Operator Experience Bilingual preferred
