Seasonal Summer Lifeguard / Pool & Water Safety Attendant / Activities Assistant

We are seeking a dependable and energetic individual to supervise pool activities, ensure water safety, and create a fun and engaging environment for children and staff.

Schedule:

(plus off-campus trips that include water activities)

Summer Kickoff Party:

5/27/26 | 8:30am-3:00pm

Tuesdays/Thursdays:

6/2/26-7/30/26 | 1:00pm-5:00pm

Monday Night Swim:

6/8/26, 6/22/26, 7/6/26, 7/20/26 | 7:00pm-10:00pm

Saturdays:

6/13/26, 6/27/26, 7/11/26, 7/25/26 | 9:30am-2:00pm

Desired Experience:

Previous lifeguard experience preferred Current Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred Knowledge of pool maintenance preferred

Qualifications:

18+ years old Strong swimming skills and ability to perform water rescues Familiarity with pool safety procedures and regulations Ability to remain calm in stressful situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must pass required background screenings, including drug testing, FBI fingerprinting, employment physical, and Sex Offenders Registry check

Responsibilities:

Monitor pool area and enforce safety rules Respond to emergencies and provide CPR/first aid if needed Assist with activities and resident engagement Maintain cleanliness of pool and activity areas Since 1935, Crosswell Home for Children has provided a safe, stable, and nurturing Christian environment for children and youth across South Carolina. Pay:
