Event Usher

Usher We are seeking welcoming, attentive ushers to assist with a classical music concert on May 12th '26, at Custer Road Methodist Church, Plano, TX. This role requires someone who can self-manage and represent our brand with professionalism and warmth. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests as they arrive and provide a positive first impression. Check and scan tickets efficiently and accurately. Assist guests in finding their seats and navigating the venue. Remain attentive during the event to help minimize disruptions. Follow guidance from the Event Coordinator and support front-of-house operations as needed. Be familiar with the venue layout, including seating sections, restrooms, and emergency exits. Respond to guest questions and needs in a courteous and helpful manner. Maintain awareness of timing and audience flow before, during, and after the performance. Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Serve as a welcoming and professional ambassador for the Concerts in America brand. Candidate Profile Reliable and punctual Detail-oriented and observant Friendly, approachable, and professional Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to follow direction and work as part of a team Calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment Comfortable interacting with diverse audiences Experience in live events, concerts, or venue operations is welcome.
