Non-exempt Description:
Under the CRC Operations Supervisor, this position provides basic front desk and customer service functions.
Duties:
Receptionist duties include answering phones, greeting, and assisting the public. Receives payments, provides change, and runs card transactions. Makes and records Recreation Center passes. Maintains membership records. Provides basic secretarial work such as record keeping and filing, etc. Orders supplies and stocks items for sale. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be 16 years or older, with one (1) year of front desk/customer service experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must have courteous and professional telephone skills and be able to greet the public with the same courtesy. Must be able to operate a computer, perform basic software functions, and enter data accurately. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions; establish work priorities; communicate effectively orally and in writing; and help define needs of members and potential members. Must be able to operate standard office equipment. Bookkeeping skills are a plus.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds. Drug screen and background checks performed Full Job Description
