Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Golf Shop Attendant to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for members and guests, ensuring they receive outstanding customer service. Your enthusiasm will help create a lively, welcoming environment while managing daily shop operations, handling transactions, and supporting event activities. Duties Greet members and guests warmly, providing excellent guest services and assistance throughout their visit Manage cash handling duties accurately during sales transactions, including merchandise and food service sales Assist with organizing and supporting golf events, tournaments, and social gatherings to enhance member engagement Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the golf shop, ensuring all equipment and merchandise are well-presented Support food service operations by taking orders, serving refreshments, or assisting in hospitality functions as needed Handle guest inquiries professionally, providing information about club amenities, golf course conditions, or upcoming events Collaborate with team members to manage conflicts effectively and ensure a positive experience for all visitors Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles preferred; experience in golf shops or resort settings is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to speak confidently in public settings or during events Ability to manage cash transactions accurately and handle food service responsibilities when required Experience with conflict management and guest relations to resolve issues promptly and professionally Knowledge of event management or working with children is advantageous for supporting club activities Lifeguard experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn safety protocols if necessary Demonstrated enthusiasm for working in a lively environment that values hospitality, teamwork, and guest satisfaction Join us as a Golf Shop Attendant to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences!
